The Yawn-Fest of my professional past: Many, MANY years ago, although my educational desires were in the areas of Art and Social Work, my college career focused around Business Management and Accounting..... because my father wanted me to be able to "feed myself". (Thanks Dad) This resulted in 15 years of Corporate Accounting & Human Resource Management in both major corp. & small business. Then, I reconnected with my dream. I went back to school again to combine dual educations into a 12 year ride as a successful entrepreneur/business owner in the highly creative salon & spa industry, where I created, owned and operated an AVEDA Concept Salon. This was very fulfilling as it ironically combined Art, Social Work, AND my business background! In these varied capacities, I've enjoyed many years of serendipitous coaching experience from which I have gained human insight like you cannot even imagine, and have loved and honored every single minute of it.

The Fun-Fest in which I currently reside:  Although I loved the salon/spa industry...something else began to tug at my heartstrings, and through a message from the other side (REALLY, the psychic thing has been going on since I was about 6 years old) it was back to school yet again, this time for a "formal" Coaching education.  I am a graduate of, and certified through The Coaches Training Institute, (CTI)which holds the honor of having developed the first ICF (International Coach Federation) Accredited Coach Training Program. I've also had the privilege of participating in The Coaches Training Institute's pilot of their newest program: QUEST- A Leader's Journey. In addition, I've studied with Coach U and The Institute for Life Coach Training, and am a member of the ICF.

I am currently a student/participant in CTI's Co-Active Leadership program. This is an intense, 10 month, 4 residential retreat based program, where together with 22 other amazing individuals, representing 7 different countries....I am growing and stretching, in ways I never know possible, literally by the minute! If anyone who may be reading this is interested in serious Leadership Training...I HIGHLY recommend it.

And perhaps most importantly of all.....to honor my very strong value around Intuition, I continually study with world renowned psychic Sonia Choquette and am a Certified Six Sensory™ Practitioner.  I am compassionate, highly intuitive and creative. I laugh often and with ease and I "walk the talk" as I do live a truly satisfying life!

The DysFUNctional-Fest of my life experience:  (hoping not to offend anyone with my playful use of this word!) While having rather enjoyed putting the FUN in dysFUNctional (LOL) I bring to my work, no shortage of life experience from which I have learned firsthand about optimism, strength, patience, love, forgiveness, creativity, perseverance, intuition, and above all else, HUMOR!  Like many of you, I have lived & learned (to laugh) through a variety of life events, a sampling of which follows, in no particular order:

• Intuitive "Gifts" from the universe....sometimes very surprising!
• Growing up in a large family w/quite a variety of personalities
• Long-term disabling illness & loss of a parent  
• Marriage
• Infidelity
• Divorce
• Suicide of a sibling

• Major career changes
• Pursuing a new education as a mature adult

• Financial downs
• Financial ups & downs again (you get the picture...very colorful!)
• Major lifestyle changes
• Living through the "I don't know what I want to BE when I grow up" era.
• Womanhood
• Arrival of Midlife (utilization of laughter is helpful here!) 
• Walking the Avon Breast Cancer 60 mile 3-Day (amazing experience!)

Again .......please allow me emphasize the word.......H U M O R
I am truly thankful for each of these interesting experiences, because without having lived through and learned from each of them, I would not be who I am today. Readers Digest Version: I've been around the block a few times, and I'm still laughing!

Personal Interests: I am married, with 2 amazing daughters & 2 great step kids. I am a perpetual student of all things intuitive. I LOVE traveling, reading, & designing jewelry in my spare time, and I live my spirit guided life daily with an attitude of gratitude.
