About Coaching:

Coaching Logistics & General Procedures:
All Coaching takes place via telephone, with a frequency of 2 to 4 sessions per month and email support in between as needed. Coaching on the phone is highly effective and very convenient! You simply call in at your appointment time from a location that allows you complete privacy. (In-person sessions are available on a limited basis if you are local)
Once we've established what your goals are with Coaching, I'll coach whatever you need/want to bring to each session. It may be specific to your main goals, or it may be something more immediate that is going on in your life at that time. I believe that ALL things, large and small, are inter-connected, and affect who we are and where we are headed. I'll often give you "homework", and ask for accountability if necessary.
It's important to know that Coaching is generally NOT a "quick fix", but more of a longer term journey of self-discovery, learning and growth. The results depend greatly on your level of commitment, and your specific goals and life situations.
Above all else, please know that I bring a nurturing, supportive, fun and creative spirit into my coaching. I WILL challenge you....and I WILL celebrate success with you!
What you can expect of me as your Coach:
- I will help you to identify what is truly important and meaningful for you
- I will assist you in eliminating personal blocks & in navigating challenges that may be holding you back
- I will offer you accountability for your desired actions, commitments & dreams
- I will co-create with you, a 100% confidential, non-judgmental, supportive, safe space in which you can fully and freely express yourself and explore your life
- I will not instruct/advise, but rather listen, guide and empower

What's The Difference Between Coaching and Therapy?
***Psychotherapy often deals with people with emotional/behavioral problems and disruptive situations - and seeks to bring the client to normal function by focusing on dysfunction. The primary focus is on healing. Coaching deals with functional people who want to move toward higher function - and achieve a more fulfilling & satisfying life. The primary focus is on evolving & deepening fulfillment. And, healing is often a side effect. Additionally, the expectations and focus the client brings to the professional relationship sets the context as coaching or as therapy.
